Classroom Management 101 In-Person
Looking to bring energy and engagement to your classroom? You can help your classroom run smoother by adapting the CHAMPs model of classroom routines, emphasizing respect, autonomy and flexibility. Acknowledging students as adults and involving them in establishing norms and expectations helps to increase their ownership and engagement. Beyond these basics are suggestions around well-planned lessons, varied presentation styles, along with providing notes and lesson summaries. Other topics include engaging students through interactive activities such as debates and collaborative exercises.
