Using AI to Deepen Student Learning In-Person
AI models like ChatGPT have become handy tools for students but many instructors are not sure how to respond. AI is here to stay and is quickly being adopted in the world outside of education, so we need to start exploring how can we leverage it in ways that enhance student learning. Positive ways that it can be used to support your instruction will be explored. If you want to stay for extra time, we can examine constructive and concerning student use of AI and some concrete strategies to guide students toward ethical and effective AI use to improve their learning.
